Opportunites in science journalism for undergraduates

The prestigious Journal of Young Investigators (JYI) is a science research and science news journal staffed by undergraduates at colleges in the US and around the world. They are looking for two kinds of writing from undergrads:

  • science journalism–written by students in any field who have an interest in reporting on issues in science. This is open to students at any level and with no science background required.
  • science articles–ones you would develop in collaboration with a faculty mentor in the sciences.  Science/engineering majors: think about this later on and talk with your professors about it.
